NFL Week 4 Waiver Wire Stashes

Justice Hill (RB – BAL) – 35% Rostered

A toe injury prevented Justice Hill from playing in Week 3, but there’s little reason to think he won’t be the lead back for the Ravens upon his return in Week 4. Throughout the summer, Hill was deemed the RB2 by the Ravens, ahead of Gus Edwards. Hill’s explosivity and ability as a pass-catcher make him an ideal fit for Todd Monken’s offense, and while a three-down role might be unlikely, we saw the Ravens use him at the goal line in Week 1. Melvin Gordon was running behind Kenyan Drake in Week 3, who promptly fumbled the ball almost as soon as he got on the field. Hill might not be a top-20 option every week, but with bye weeks coming, he’s the kind of useful back worth rostering, particularly on an offense we expect to be good for fantasy.

Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN) – 23% Rostered

Derrick Henry is off to an even slower start than is typical for the running back who hits his best form in the colder months. The big difference for Derrick Henry this year is that his competition is notably mixing in at a higher rate than expected. Spears has played over 50% of the snaps in two of the first three games and has 10 targets. Derrick Henry is fast approaching 30 years old and on a very tradable contract. There are many paths to him missing games this year, and Spears has huge upside down the stretch.
