Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Zack Moss, Raheem Mostert, Kyren Williams (Week 6)

Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Zack Moss, Raheem Mostert, Kyren Williams (Week 6)

Winning the trade market is at least as important as nailing the draft. Aside from the waiver wire’s massive impact in the season’s first few weeks, trading is the best way to improve your squad quickly. Great buy-low moves can set you up for victory in the short term and down the stretch. Solid sell-high deals can get you big hauls for overachieving players who likely won’t sustain their production.

Here are all players the experts are buying and selling this week. Below we dive into a few notable players. And be sure to check out our weekly trade value chart with updated values for all players.

Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Week 6

Kyren Williams (RB – LAR)

“My favorite sell-high candidate is Kyren Williams. He has been one of the best waiver wire gems this season, but in Cooper Kupp‘s first game back, it was Williams who saw a dip in production, not Nacua. His rushing attempts and yards were cut in half from the previous week, and his targets fell to a season-low of two. I would look to trade him away for Isiah Pacheco, who has three consecutive games of 15 or more carries. ”
Aaron St Denis (The League Winners)

Raheem Mostert (RB – MIA)

Raheem Mostert is someone you should think about moving before the rest of the domino’s fall. At the moment, the world is focusing on De’Von Achane injury. You also have Jeff Wilson returning to this backfield at some point. It could get murky, and while your fellow managers tilt, you can capitalize.”
Joe Pepe (Beyond The Gridiron)

“My sell-high candidate would be Raheem Mostert. Mostert has the advantage of not appearing like a sell-high candidate, as Achane’s injury, in theory, increases the sustainability of Mostert’s red-hot RB2 overall start to the season. However, McDaniels never only relies on one RB and will continue to ride the hot hand throughout the season as Jeff Wilson Jr. and Achane eventually return along with Ahmed. The quality of this offense will keep someone relevant, but I don’t think we should be convinced it will always remain Mostert. Given his recent production, flipping him for a mid-WR 1 isn’t impossible, but even a lower-end WR1 is worth taking for him.”
Benjamin Klotz (Touchdown Squad)

Zack Moss (RB – IND)

Zack Moss was the RB2 in Week 5, scoring 32.5 half-point PPR fantasy points, but now is the time to sell! According to Fantasy Points Data, the veteran averaged 3.83 yards per rushing attempt before contact last week, the third-highest among running backs with at least seven attempts. By comparison, he averaged 1.85 yards before contact this year before Week 5. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans just flat-out struggled this past week. They had held opposing teams to only 0.78 yards per rushing attempt before Week 5, the sixth-fewest in the NFL. Jonathan Taylor just got paid and will return to being the featured running back in a few weeks. If you can flip Moss and a WR3 for James Cook or Joe Mixon, that’s a deal you make in a heartbeat.”
