Winning the trade market is at least as important as nailing the draft. Aside from the waiver wire’s massive impact in the season’s first few weeks, trading is the best way to improve your squad quickly. Great buy-low moves can set you up for victory in the short term and down the stretch. Solid sell-high deals can get you big hauls for overachieving players who likely won’t sustain their production.
Here are all players experts plan to buy and sell this week. Belowe we dive into a few notable trade candidates. And be sure to check out our weekly trade value chart with updated values for all players.

Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Week 5
Joe Mixon (RB – CIN)
“The Joe Burrow panic-fest is in effect. This will have residual depreciation on almost all Bengals’ players. While Joe Mixon is the RB25 on the season (1/2 PPR), he still possesses the highest rush % mark of any RB (82%). It’s also safe to say that his 4% target rate over the past two games should regress back to the double-digits. As far as return value, I would love to send Zack Moss or potentially Raheem Mostert and try to get a throw-in piece in addition.”

Jameson Williams (WR – DET) | Anthony Richardson (QB – IND)
“Both WR Jameson Williams and QB Anthony Richardson have elite athleticism and were on my sleeper list this summer. Williams is finally ready to showcase his 2021 first-team all-American talent, while Richardson has already surpassed even my most optimistic fantasy expectations. If I were unable to snag these guys in my draft, I would make very competitive offers for both before the rest of the fantasy world wakes up from their slumber and adjusts their value higher. For Williams, I would give up Jahan Dotson, Terry McLaurin, Garrett Wilson, or Drake London. For Richardson: Joe Burrow, Justin Fields, or Trevor Lawrence. Jameson Williams reminds me of a poor man’s Randy Moss. He’s that explosive and a potential league winner if given a chance imo. Anthony Richardson reminds me of a combo of Cam Newton and Doug Williams.”
– Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)
Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL)
“Kyle Pitts isn’t even the best fantasy TE on his team, with Jonnu Smith having more receptions and yards this season. So why do I think Pitts is a “buy-low”? Well, this team is currently leading the league in targets to the TE position, and Taylor Hienicke is waiting to be this offense’s savior. Last season, Mitch Trubisky, Baker Mayfield, and Carson Wentz were benched after three, five, and six games, respectively. With the way Desmond Ridder is playing, he is on the same trajectory as those three veterans. If you think Heinicke will be starting in the next two weeks (like I do), then it’s a great time to acquire a TE who has all the physical traits and potential targets to be a league winner in 2023. I would trade any tight end from Dallas Goedert down for him.”
