Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Dameon Pierce, Zack Moss, Tyler Boyd (Week 7)

Week six has come and gone, and based on how this season has gone, you’re likely dealing with someone on your roster dealing with an injury. Don’t sweat it! As always, we’ve got you covered here with early trade advice for week seven, with three more players to buy and sell.

Fantasy Football Trade Advice

Three Players to Sell

Dameon Pierce (RB – HOU)

Things haven’t gone great for Dameon Pierce in 2023. He’s averaging just about three yards per attempt on the season. In week six, he only out carried Devin Singletary by one rushing attempt, and Singletary was the far more efficient of the two backs (4.8 yards per attempt compared to 2.6 yards per attempt). If Pierce isn’t efficient, is sharing the backfield, and doesn’t catch passes, there are plenty of other running backs I’d prefer to roster. Look to pivot off Pierce while he still holds name value in some circles before the value decreases further.

Zack Moss (RB – IND)

Zack Moss continued to have a role for the Colts in week six, but predictably, Jonathan Taylor‘s role grew. It won’t be long before Taylor resumes his full workload in the Colts backfield, and while there’s a chance Moss gets dealt before the trade deadline to a running back needy team, I’d bet on him simply remaining the backup to Taylor. He’ll retain minor standalone value and should be treated as a premier handcuff based on what he’s done in 2023. Still, I’m OK with looking to move him now if someone believes in him moving forward, and I can find bench value at the wide receiver position for the rest of the season.

Tyler Boyd (WR – CIN)

Tyler Boyd found his way into the endzone in week six, which saved his fantasy day, so if someone in your league is chasing the previous week’s scores, look to flip Boyd for anything of value now. He’s a fine end-of-roster player in leagues with big benches, but even on weeks when he sees six or seven targets, he won’t turn those touches into significant yardage output. I’d look to use him as a piece of a trade where I package him with another player or two to find a clear upgrade at the wide receiver position.
