Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Alvin Kamara, Gabe Davis, Alexander Mattison (Week 6)

Winning the trade market is at least as important as nailing the draft. Aside from the waiver wire’s massive impact in the season’s first few weeks, trading is the best way to improve your squad quickly. Great buy-low moves can set you up for victory in the short term and down the stretch. Solid sell-high deals can get you big hauls for overachieving players who likely won’t sustain their production.

Here are all players the experts are buying and selling this week. Below we dive into a few notable players. And be sure to check out our weekly trade value chart with updated values for all players.

Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Week 6

Gabe Davis (WR – BUF)

Gabriel Davis is one of my favorite fantasy darlings, and he is living up to that billing this year with touchdowns in four straight games. The challenge is that in his five games, he has three games with four or fewer targets. If he doesn’t get that touchdown, he has very little value. I would trade him now, while he is hot, for an RB2 like Isiah Pacheco, a WR2 like Jordan Addison (without Justin Jefferson) or Nico Collins, and if savvy, find a way to create a trade that includes Kyle Pitts, who had 11 targets last week!”
Adam Dove (The Fantasy Couriers)

Alexander Mattison (RB – MIN)

Alexander Mattison has had two good weeks in a row. Use that to move him before it is too late. Despite not playing well, he has finished as a top-20 back in 4 out of five games. He was a top 10 back once, as well. This offense is about to get ugly without Justin Jefferson. We don’t know how long Jefferson is going to be out, but this offense will suffer. They could also move on from Kirk Cousins, and you need to be ahead of it. Take Mattison and pair him without another player while he still has some value.”

Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)

“I would love to sell high on Alvin Kamara right now since the right buyer may value him at high-end RB2 value. Kamara is coming off of a 13-catch game and another where he scored a touchdown. He is not a good short-yardage runner, and he is likely third in the pecking order for red zone carries and further down in overall goal-line usage once everyone is healthy. Sell him after two great fantasy weeks for a player like CeeDee Lamb. ”
