Tee Higgins (rib) not practicing Thursday

Tee Higgins (rib) is not participating at Cincinnati’s practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Thursday is the second-straight practice that Higgins has missed because of his rib injury. It’s not a minor injury, and it seems like there’s a good shot that he won’t be able to suit up this week. If that’s the case, Tyler Boyd will be a startable fantasy option in what should be a favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

Luke Musgrave cleared from concussion protocol

Luke Musgrave has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocols.

Fantasy Impact

Musgrave has been dealing with a concussion that he suffered in last week’s game, but he has already cleared the protocols and is practicing. He should be good to go for Week 5 and is an interesting streaming option in a matchup against Las Vegas’ sub-par defense.

Davante Adams (shoulder) won’t practice Thursday

Davante Adams (shoulder) won’t participate at Las Vegas’ practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Adams won’t practice on Thursday because of the shoulder injury that he suffered in Sunday’s loss. He was able to return and finish the game, so it seems like he’ll be a go for Week 5, even if he’s limited or absent from practice over the next few days. QB Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to clear the concussion protocols before the team’s game on Monday, which is great for Adams’ fantasy value and further solidifies him as a must-start WR1 in Week 5.

Roschon Johnson (concussion) won’t return Thursday

Roschon Johnson (concussion) won’t return to Thursday’s game against the Washington Commanders.

Fantasy Impact

Johnson suffered a concussion in the first half of Thursday night’s game and has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. He will enter the NFL’s concussion protocols but will have a good chance to be back for Week 6 with Chicago having a long turnaround before that game. Khalil Herbert will get the bulk of the work for the Bears while the rookie is sidelined.
