Saquon Barkley (ankle) ruled game-time decision by Daboll

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll called RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) a game-time decision for Week 5.

Fantasy Impact

Barkley has missed a pair of games due to injury, ushering in RB Matt Breida into a starting role. Breida will likely return to starting if Barkley – who is listed as questionable – can’t go, though Barkley will likely try his best to play. If Barkley can play, he’s a must-start RB every week.

Najee Harris (hamstring) limited Friday; good to go for Sunday

Najee Harris (hamstring) was limited at practice on Friday but carries no injury designation for Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Harris was a surprise addition to Pittsburgh’s injury report on Sunday, being listed with a hamstring injury that left him limited. It doesn’t appear to be a serious issue, however, as he carries no injury designation for Sunday’s game. Still, this is a situation worth monitoring for fantasy managers, especially with backup Jaylen Warren always knocking on the door for more touches.

Kenny Pickett (knee) good to go, will start Week 5

Kenny Pickett (knee) is good to go and will start in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Impact

There was some early concern about Pickett’s availability for this week when he suffered a bone bruise on his knee in Week 4, but he logged a full practice on Friday and is off the injury report for Sunday. He will play and start in an important divisional matchup against the Ravens, but he will be without starting TE Pat Freiermuth because of a hamstring injury. The second-year QB has struggled so far this year, making him a good sit candidate for this week, especially with him coming off of an injury.

Treylon Burks (knee) ruled out for Week 5

Treylon Burks (knee) has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Impact

HC Mike Vrabel is telling reporters that Burks will be out on Sunday because of a knee injury. It’s the same injury that made him miss last week and sidelined him at practice all week, and it’s unclear when the team expects him to be back. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips (knee) are both expected to get more work in his absence against Indianapolis.
