Kenny Pickett (knee) will practice Wednesday

Kenny Pickett (knee) will be participating at practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Pickett suffered a bone bruise in his knee during Sunday’s loss to the Texans. It initially seemed like he was bound to be out this week, but HC Mike Tomlin says that he will practice on Wednesday and be evaluated from there. It remains unclear what way he’s trending for Week 5, and fantasy managers can look for Mitch Trubisky to be the starter if the second-year quarterback can’t go against the Steelers.

Donald Parham Jr. (wrist) uncertain for Week 6; X-Rays negative

Donald Parham Jr. (wrist) is uncertain for Week 6 after his X-Rays came back negative.

Fantasy Impact

A wrist injury forced Parham to miss much of Sunday’s win over the Raiders. He got X-rays on it, but they came back negative and revealed that he had not broken anything. He’s dealing with a sprained wrist, and his status for Week 6 following the team’s Week 5 bye is uncertain as of now. If he has to miss time, Gerald Everett will be primed to get more work in his absence.

Mike Evans expected to have mild hamstring strain; to undergo MRI

Mike Evans is thought to have a mild hamstring strain and will undergo an MRI to confirm.

Fantasy Impact

Evans left Sunday’s game early after going down with a hamstring injury. The team believes that it’s a mild issue, and he will undergo an MRI on Tuesday to confirm that. If that’s the case, he may not have to miss any actual time with Tampa Bay having their bye week this week.
