Marquise Brown (illness) doesn’t practice Wednesday

Marquise Brown (illness) did not participate in practice for the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Brown wasn’t spotted during the open portion of practice, and now we know why. He’s dealing with a new illness and did not practice at all. The timeline for his return hasn’t been established, but he shouldn’t be out for more than a few days. Chances are that he’ll play this weekend and continue to be a solid fantasy option in a matchup against the Rams.

DK Metcalf (ribs) doesn’t practice Wednesday

DK Metcalf (ribs) did not participate in Seattle’s practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Metcalf did not practice on Wednesday because of an injury to his ribs, but it’s not expected to be a big deal. He’s been managing this injury for weeks, but he’s always been able to play through it and should do so again in Week 6 against the Bengals.

Zay Jones (knee) doesn’t practice Wednesday

Zay Jones (knee) did not participate at Jacksonville’s practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Jones is currently considered day-to-day with a knee injury and didn’t practice on Wednesday. This injury has been lingering for him for a while, and we won’t know more about his status for Week 6 until later on in the week. If he has to miss time, Christian Kirk and Evan Engram will be prime candidates to get more involvement in his absence.

Robert Woods (ribs) non-participant at practice Wednesday

Robert Woods (ribs) did not practice for the Texans on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

The veteran is dealing with a new injury to his ribs that forced him to miss practice for the Texans. Wednesday’s are usually a veteran rest day for him, so it’s possible that the team is just being cautious with his injury early on in the week. Thursday and Friday will be more telling about his status, and Houston could be in trouble if Woods and rookie Tank Dell (concussion) are both out against the Saints this week.
