Travis Kelce hauls in ten passes despite injury Sunday

Travis Kelce caught 10-of-11 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown despite briefly leaving Sunday’s win over the Vikings because of an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact

Kelce had an injury scare in the second quarter, going down with a non-contact injury that forced him to limp into the locker room. It turned out to be nothing major, and he returned to the game with his foot taped and caught a touchdown. He should be good to go for next week and will remain arguably the top tight end in all of fantasy moving forward.

JuJu Smith-Schuster caught 3-of-4 targets for six yards in the Patriots’ 34-0 loss to the Saints.

Smith-Schuster exited with a head injury and will likely enter into the NFL’s concussion protocol heading into Week 6. Fantasy managers can leave the 26-year-old on the waiver wire considering the current state of the Patriots’ offense.

It was a quiet day for Jefferson on Sunday, with him being held in check to just three catches for most of the game. He didn’t have the opportunity to bounce back at the end of the game, as he left with a hamstring injury of some kind. The exact severity of it has yet to be determined, and fantasy managers should keep close tabs on his status in practice this week to determine if the star wideout will have to miss any time.
