Justin Herbert diagnosed with finger fracture on non-throwing hand

Justin Herbert has been diagnosed with a fractured finger on his non-throwing hand.

Fantasy Impact

Herbert suffered a hand injury that needed to be wrapped up during Sunday’s win over the Raiders. Now, it’s being diagnosed as a fractured finger on his non-throwing hand. This is good news for the star quarterback, as he shouldn’t have his throwing affected by the injury moving forward. Fantasy managers can continue to view him as a top 7 option at the position for the rest of the year.

Pickett suffered a knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Texans that forced him to leave the game early. The team doesn’t know exactly how serious his injury is, but he’s expected to miss some real time while recovering from it. We’ll know more sometime in the near future, and Mitch Trubisky is in line to be the starting QB for however long Pickett is out.

Fantasy Impact

Freiermuth went down during Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury of some kind. It’s not just a minor issue, and the team is getting it scanned today so they can determine the extent of the injury. It looks like he may have to miss some time, which would open the door for rookie Darnell Washington to get more work in his absence.
