Jerome Ford (ankle) not practicing Wednesday
Jerome Ford (ankle) sitting out of Wednesday’s practice.
Fantasy Impact
Ford’s absence on Wednesday should come as no surprise. The second-year RB is dealing with what has been labeled a “low-grad, high-ankle sprain.” Ford is expected to miss 1 to 2 weeks. Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong are expected to shoulder the load in the Browns’ backfield.

Watson continues to try to battle through a shoulder issue. He played in this past Sunday but was knocked out early. Watson is not expected to play in Week 8, giving way to PJ Walker at QB.

Justin Fields (thumb) progressing in recovery
Justin Fields (thumb) is progressing but remains in a week-to-week situation.
Fantasy Impact
Fields dislocated his thumb in Week 6. He missed Week 7’s game and remains unlikely to play in Week 8. Tyson Bagent will continue to start at QB for the Bears as long as Fields remains out.

Joshua Palmer (knee) doesn’t practice Wednesday
Joshua Palmer (knee) did not participate at practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Palmer is listed on the injury report with a knee issue and did not practice on Wednesday. This is a new issue for him, and it’s unclear whether or not he suffered it in his 130+ yard performance in Week 7. He has solid flex value, so this is a situation worth monitoring for fantasy managers leading up to the weekend.
