Tee Higgins (rib) not expected to miss extended time

Tee Higgins (rib) says that he doesn’t see his injury keeping him out for an extended period of time.

Fantasy Impact

Higgins suffered a rib injury during Sunday’s loss to the Titans and left the game early. He said that he doesn’t anticipate that he will miss extended time, and he could even be back for Week 5 depending on his pain tolerance. If he has to miss some time, fantasy managers can look for Tyler Boyd to step up and get more work in his absence.

Jonathan Taylor to return to practice on Wednesday

Jonathan Taylor has been designated to return from the PUP list and will practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Taylor has been on the PUP list for the entire season so far, but now he’s designated to return and will be back at practice on Wednesday, according to HC Shane Steichen. The team will have 21 days to activate him to the active roster, or else he won’t be able to return at all this year. It’s unclear if he still wants traded or if there’s any turmoil between him and the team, but he will be a must-start fantasy option whenever he’s on the field, regardless of who it’s for.

Jimmy Garoppolo still in concussion protocol, remains starter when healthy

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said Jimmy Garoppolo is still in concussion protocol.

Fantasy Impact

McDaniels added that Garoppolo remains the Raiders starter when he is healthy. Las Vegas play next Monday so Garoppolo will have an extra day to clear the protocols. If he remains sidelined, it will likely be Aidan O’Connell undercenter again for the Raiders.
