Jonathan Mingo (concussion) will play Week 5
Jonathan Mingo (concussion) will play in Week 5 against the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Mingo was out last week while in the NFL’s concussion protocol, but he is getting better and will be available to play in Week 5. The Panthers have been looking to beef up their WR room for rookie QB Bryce Young, and it’ll help to get the second-round rookie back on the field. His return will mean less work for Terrace Marshall Jr. moving forward.

Jonathan Taylor (ankle) says he’s 100% healthy
Jonathan Taylor (ankle) told reporters that he is 100% healthy and ready to play football.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor hasn’t appeared in a game yet this year while nursing ankle injuries that he suffered last year. The team recently opened his 21-day practice window, and now he’s telling reporters that he’s 100% healthy and committed to playing. This is terrific news for fantasy managers of the star running back, as it sounds like he’ll be on the field possibly as soon as this week. If that’s the case, he will be a must-start fantasy option and Zack Moss‘ value will take a major hit for the rest of the season.

Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) will be ‘less than 100 percent’ for SNF
Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) will play at “less than 100 percent” when the 49ers face the Cowboys on Sunday night.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel was nearly absent in Week 4, failing to log a target. Even if he gets more involved this coming Sunday, he’ll be playing at less than full strength. This isn’t great news for a receiver whose production has already been limited by the stellar play of Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk. Samuel should be viewed as a fantasy WR3 this week.

Austin Ekeler (ankle) expects to return Week 6
Austin Ekeler (ankle) announced on a live stream that he expects to be back for Week 6 versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
Ekeler specifically mentioned that the Chargers are currently on their bye week, which means that he has extra time to recover before returning to play. Assuming he’s active in Week 6, Ekeler should be deployed as a high-end RB1.
