Matthew Stafford has hip bruise; expected to play Week 5
Matthew Stafford has a hip bruise but is expected to practice and play in Week 5 against the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
The Rams beat the Colts in overtime on Sunday, but somewhere along the way, Stafford picked up a hip bruise that is causing him soreness. He’s still expected to practice and play this week, according to HC Sean McVay, but this is still a situation worth monitoring for fantasy managers leading up to a tough Week 5 matchup against the Eagles.

Kenny Pickett (knee) diagnosed with bone bruise
Kenny Pickett (knee) has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his knee and his status for Week 5 is uncertain.
Fantasy Impact
Pickett left Sunday’s game early after suffering a knee injury, and he’s now being diagnosed with a bone bruise after having an MRI on his knee. He’s uncertain to play in Week 5, and the team may exercise caution and sit him with their bye week coming up in Week 6. This is good news for the second-year quarterback, and fantasy managers can expect Mitch Trubisky to get the start this week if Pickett is ruled out ahead of game time.

Joe Burrow (calf) will start in Week 5 against Cardinals
Joe Burrow, who has been nursing a calf injury all season, will start again for the Bengals in their Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Burrow has been extremely limited in his abilities through four weeks, and the Bengals offense has suffered greatly. Burrow only has one Week in the first month of the season in which he managed a double-digit fantasy output. It seems that Burrow will continue to go out and play every week, but it remains to be seen if he will manage to play like his usual self. A matchup against a subpar Cards defense may help Burrow and the Cincy offense right the ship, but he is a risky start until he proves he can be consistent.
