Ryan Tannehill (ankle) suffers familiar injury, will be evaluated after bye

Ryan Tannehill (ankle) has been diagnosed with a “similar” injury to the one he suffered last year, head coach Mike Vrabel told the media. He won’t need surgery, but the team will wait until after its bye week to make a decision on his availability for Week 8.

Fantasy Impact

Rapoport notes that if Tannehill can’t play (which appears to be a very real possibility), Malik Willis or Will Levis would take his place. The Titans have not publicly commented on which of the two would be in line to start, though it’s worth noting that Willis has been Tannehill’s backup for most of the season.

Harris was taken to the hospital after a scary on-field situation Sunday, but he was discharged on Monday and is now resting at home. According to a tweet from the team, the running back “has a neck sprain but seems to be in good spirits.”

Anthony Richardson (shoulder) likely to miss the rest of the regular season

Colts QB Anthony Richardson is likely to undergo shoulder surgery in the next week and will likely miss the remainder of the regular season, per Colts’ owner Jim Irsay.

Fantasy Impact

The team has obtained multiple medical opinions on Richardson’s sprained AC joint. The Colts will look to play it safe considering the rookie quarterback is key to the long-term success of the franchise’s championship hopes. Fantasy managers should expect Gardner Minshew to serve as the starter for the remainder of the season and expect the Colts to feature Jonathan Taylor and Zack Moss with the change in quarterback.

Deebo Samuel (shoulder) considered day-to-day moving forward

Deebo Samuel (shoulder) is considered day-to-day for the time being.

Fantasy Impact

HC Kyle Shanahan told reporters that Samuel is considered day-to-day right now because of the shoulder injury that he suffered on Sunday. He will have a chance to play this week, but it will depend on how he feels and how practice goes later in the week. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
