Week 1 is finally here! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy managers is also here. Players who appear on the Friday injury report and haven’t practiced much during the week can often lead to trepidation for managers trying to make lineup decisions and/or waiver claims. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into the weekend.
Romeo Doubs appeared on the injury report with a hamstring issue that kept him out of practice last weekend and through Wednesday. Will he be ready to go for the Packers’ opening game against the Bears? Here’s what we know.

Romeo Doubs questionable for season opener, per LaFleur
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that WR Romeo Doubs is questionable ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Impact
Doubs popped up on the injury report this week but is logging his second full practice in a row on Friday. After an early week surprise, Doubs is likely good to go for the season opener. With Christian Watson listed as out for Week 1, Doubs has a chance to see an increased role, but in an offense with Jordan Love under center and no clear pecking order, it’s hard to bank on Doubs for fantasy production in the season opener.
What the Experts Are Saying
TBD. Lean towards playing. Data suggests mild performance impact but moderate re-injury risk.

Doubs is dealing with a hamstring injury, which puts his status for Week 1 in doubt. Lower body injuries are also tricky to address, especially with their high rate of recurring during play. Not worth the risk, even if he’s deemed healthy enough to play in Week 1. The expectation is that he is going to play, but I’d much rather take a shot on one or two GB rookies instead.
