Week 2 has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy managers is also here. Players who appear on the Friday injury report and haven’t practiced much during the week can often lead to trepidation for managers trying to make lineup decisions and/or waiver claims. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into the weekend.
Christian Watson has been dealing with a hamstring injury for the last couple of weeks. It kept him out of Green Bay’s Week 1 shellacking of Chicago and is now threatening to keep him out of their matchup in Atlanta. Should fantasy managers continue with their backup plan at wide receiver? Here’s what we know.

Christian Watson (hamstring) questionable to play Sunday
Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
A hamstring injury left Watson sidelined in Week 1 and will now leave him with a questionable tag for Sunday’s game. The team is taking his recovery week-to-week for right now, and they will make a decision about his availability closer to game time. If he’s out, fantasy managers can look for Romeo Doubs and rookie Jayden Reed to continue to get more work in his absence.
Other news:
- Christian Watson (hamstring) still not at practice
- Christian Watson (hamstring) getting in work with rehab staff Wednesday
What the Experts Are Saying
TBD. Lean towards sitting Week 2. Good news here is that his practice progression gives Watson a 60% chance of returning Week 3. That will of course be updated and more accurate following next week’s practice progression. Upon return, mild performance impact but moderate re-injury risk is expected.
