Kyle Pitts: Pitts had the highest off-target rate of any pass catcher who ran at least 200 routes – 29%. Nico Collins was a distant second at 26%. He only had three TDs in 27 NFL games so far, but Pitts had 12 TDs in 8 games in his final college season at Florida.

Christian Watson: As my colleague Andrew Erickson noted while listing Watson among his favorite draft targets, the Green Bay receiver’s 26% target rate per route run ranked 17th among all WRs with at least 400 snaps, and Watson’s 2.47 yards per route run ranked inside the top 10, tying Davante Adams in that category. Among 82 qualifying wide receivers, Christian Watson ranked 14th in open score last season, immediately behind Garrett Wilson (per ESPN analytics).

Jordan Love: The last time the Packers opened a season with someone other than Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback was 1992. Nico Collins: Over the last two years, Nico Collins has seen a 22.7% target share and 30.6% target per route run rate, with Brandin Cooks not on the field.

Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor: Yes, 2022 was disappointing due largely to a lingering high-ankle sprain, but let’s not forget that Taylor scored 32 touchdowns in his first 32 NFL games. He led the league in rushing in 2021 and averaged 127.7 yards from scrimmage per game that year.

Evan Hull: Evan Hull led all FBS running backs in receiving yards in 2022.

Jerick McKinnon: McKinnon scored 10 touchdowns on 128 touches. He scored a touchdown on 7.8% of all his touches. McKinnon averaged 7.5 touches a game in the regular season. After Week 12 last year, Jerick McKinnon led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (eight).

Travis Kelce: What makes Kelce valuable is how much more productive he is than anyone else in the TE position. Kelce finished with 262.3 half-point PPR fantasy points last year. The next closest was T.J. Hockenson, with 172.4. That’s 66% of Kelce’s point total. The scoring gap between Kelce and Hockenson (88.9 fantasy points) was greater than the total fantasy points scored by Hunter Henry, Hayden Hurst, Mike Gesicki, Darren Waller, or Kyle Pitts last season.

Keenan Allen: The yards per route run mark was Keenan Allen‘s highest (2.08) since the 2.32 he posted in 2018.

Quentin Johnston: Quentin Johnston ranked sixth in YAC per reception and 11th in missed tackles forced (minimum 50 targets per PFF).

Gerald Everett: Gerald Everett ranked 15th in receiving grade, 21st in yards per route run, and 12th in YAC per reception (per PFF).

Tyquan Thornton: Among 97 qualifying wide receivers, Tyquan Thornton had the third-lowest receiving grade and second-lowest yards per route run (per PFF).

New Orleans Saints

Derek Carr: There is reason to believe Carr will make better use of Olave’s sub-4.4 speed than Andy Dalton did last season. Carr averaged 9.1 intended air yards per pass attempt last season, according to Pro Football Reference, the fourth-highest in the league. Dalton averaged 7.9 intended air yards per pass attempt last season. Carr posted a 95.8 passer rating on throws of 20+ yards last season, 13th among QBs with at least 300 pass attempts. Fantasy Football Draft Kit

New York Jets

Overall Offense: In 2022, the New York Jets were 26th in red zone scoring attempts per game. Over the last three seasons with Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay has ranked 14th, fifth, and sixth in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers & Nathaniel Hackett: The Jets’ new offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, was the Packers’ offensive from 2019 to 202, so he and Rodgers have a history together. During those three years in Green Bay, the Packers ranked 28th, 32nd, and 32nd in offensive pace.

Garrett Wilson: In Weeks 8-18, Garrett Wilson had a 26.9% target share, a 37% air yard share, and 2.08 yards per route run.

A.J. Brown: A.J. Brown ranked third in yards per route run and top 15 in route win rate.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris: An indication that the Lisfranc injury Najee was dealing with playing through early last season was a bigger deal than he let on: Harris averaged 59.1 yards from scrimmage over the first eight games of the season, 87.8 yards from scrimmage over his last nine.

Pat Freiermuth: Growth signs from 2022: Freiermuth’s average depth of target went from 5.3 yards in 2021 to 8.3 yards in 2022, and his yards per target jumped from 6.3 to 7.5. Freiermuth is one of six TEs with more than 30 red-zone targets over the past two seasons.

In 2019, Jameis Winston led the NFL in pass attempts when HE was the Buccaneers’ quarterback. In 2020, Tom Brady was SECOND in the NFL in pass attempts. So, for the last four years, Godwin’s quarterback has either ranked first or second in pass attempts. Last year, Tampa Bay was fourth in neutral passing rate. During Canales’ tenure as the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in Seattle (2020-2022), the Seahawks were eighth in neutral passing rate.
