There’s something everyone needs to understand about this article. There are two main objectives when I write this piece. The first is to predict who will be used the most among DFS managers because those tend to be the cash-game options. Our second goal is to find some good values that also fall under the category of cash-game players.
That’s a tricky balance, but we have a good read on how the public thinks! With that in mind, let’s dive into this Week 4 slate!

Week 4 DFS Cash Game Lineup Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Week 4:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Justin Herbert (QB – LAC) vs. LV: $7,800
Herbert is making an early run for MVP and will be an elite DFS option on every slate. He ranks second among all quarterbacks with 26 DraftKings points per game, averaging over 40 pass attempts per game! That role is incredible, and it should continue with how pass-heavy this offense looks. Facing Las Vegas is wonderful, too, with the Raiders ranked 20th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.
Brock Purdy (QB – SF) vs. ARI: $5,900
Purdy is going to be rostered at this sub-$6K price tag. He’s being priced around many backend starters, and Purdy has been far from that throughout his career. He’s scored at least 15 DraftKings points in eight straight regular season games, averaging nearly 20 fantasy points per game in that span. He should keep that going against Arizona, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers.
FanDuel
Josh Allen (QB – BUF) vs. MIA: $9,000
This could be a fun game! We have two of the best offenses in the sport, which is on full display by this 54-point total. That means Buffalo is projected to score 28 points, the highest total on this slate! We can’t fade the star quarterback for the highest-scoring offense, especially since Allen has been the leading scorer at the quarterback position over the last three years! Not to mention, Miami ranks 24th in yardage allowed.
Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) vs. WAS: $8,800
Hurts hasn’t been throwing a ton this season, but his one-yard touchdowns make him an elite cash-game option. He’s got about a 50 percent chance to score a rushing touchdown with that cheat code play, with Hurts averaging over 25 FanDuel points per game since the start of last season. In his two matchups with Washington last year, Hurts had 23 and 28 fantasy points.
Running Backs
DraftKings
Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) vs. ARI: $9,200
If there’s one player you have to use this week, it’s CMC! This stud has the highest floor of any player in fantasy right now, scoring at least 23 DraftKings points in every game! That’s no surprise since he’s the star back for one of the best offenses in football, and he should get plenty of chances here. San Fran enters this matchup as a 14-point favorite, with Arizona allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
D’Andre Swift (RB – PHI) vs. WAS: $5,700
Kenneth Gainwell looked like the guy after Week 1, but Swift has swiped this backfield over the last two weeks. In those two weeks, Swift has 44 carries for 305 yards! That’s the stud we saw at times in Detroit, and it’s scary to think how good he could be as the bellcow back for this elite Eagles offense. They also enter this matchup as a 9.5-point favorite, with Washington allowing a woeful 4.8 yards per carry.
FanDuel
Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) vs. ARI: $9,700
Everything we said in the DraftKings write-up goes here. McCaffrey has been the most reliable back in football and should roll right through Arizona as a double-digit favorite. Getting 100 yards and a touchdown looks like his floor because 200 yards and two touchdowns are not out of the realm of possibility!
Miles Sanders (RB – CAR) vs. MIN: $6,600
This is a sensational spot for Sanders. He’s the go-to back in Carolina right now, guaranteed double-digit carries and all of the goal-line work. That led to Sanders scoring a season-high 15 FD points in his most recent outing. That could be his floor in this magical matchup, with Minnesota allowing the sixth-most yards and seventh-most points in the NFL.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Keenan Allen (WR – LAC) vs. LV: $7,900
It’s hard to believe that Allen is still below $8K on DraftKings. He’s leading all players with over 32 DraftKings points per game, scoring 34 and 48 fantasy points in his two most recent outings. He actually got an absurd 20 targets in the most recent game and should get even more work since Mike Williams is out for the season. Not to mention, Vegas has a terrible secondary, owning an 18th OPRK against opposing wideouts.
Amari Cooper (WR – CLE) vs. BAL: $6,100
This is another baffling price tag. Coop has been a revelation in Cleveland this year, averaging 17 DK points per game. That alone is incredible from a $6K player, but it should continue since Nick Chubb is out of the picture. Facing the Ravens sounds rough, but they have a 25th OPRK against opposing receivers!
FanDuel
Davante Adams (WR – LV) at LAC: $8,100
Adams has been one of the best wideouts since he was drafted, and it’s hard to believe he’s sixth in salary on FanDuel after what we saw in Week 3. He was peppered with 20 targets in that game, finishing with 13 catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns. We don’t expect that to happen every week, but it’s more likely since he faces an LA team allowing the most passing yards in the NFL.
Tank Dell (WR – HOU) vs. PIT: $6,200
All fantasy managers know that Dell has established himself as CJ Stroud’s top option, scoring 17 and 23 FD points in his two most recent outings. That’s an encouraging sign from a rookie, and it’s not like they will take him off the field when looking at this depth chart. That makes him way too cheap at $6,200, and he’ll be rostered by everyone at this salary. In addition, the Steelers sit 28th in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
TJ Hockenson (TE – MIN) at CAR: $6,500
The tight ends are always tough to pick, forcing people to use Hockenseon every time out. He’s currently dominating the position, leading the way with 17.3 DK points per game. That’s unbelievable since only two other guys are averaging double-digit DK points, with Hock scoring at least 12 DK points in all three games. That’s the same total as the second-highest-scoring tight end!
FanDuel
George Kittle (TE – SF) vs. ARI: $6,300
Kittle looked awesome last Thursday, and people will want to use him after seeing him on national television. The stud tight end scored 13 FanDuel points in that game and has annihilated Arizona throughout his career. In fact, Kittle has at least 17 FD points in three straight matchups with the Cardinals over the last three years!
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Philadelphia Eagles D/ST vs. WAS: $4,100
Everyone knows the Eagles have an elite defense, and they will use them against Washington. They enter this matchup as a 9.5-point home favorite, with the Commanders projected to score less than 20 points. That makes it shocking that they’re fourth in salary and likely be the highest-rostered D/ST on this slate!
FanDuel
San Francisco 49ers D/ST vs. ARI: $4,700
There’s a chance San Fran is over 50 percent owned in every lineup on FanDuel! They’re the largest favorite of the season and are facing the worst offense in football. Everyone knows that the 49ers have one of the best defenses, and this couldn’t be a bigger mismatch. That makes this salary laughable because San Fran is fourth in salary on FanDuel.
