Aaron Rodgers Injury Update
Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) surgery “went great”
Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said Thursday that his surgery “went great.”
Fantasy Impact
As most already know at this point, Rodgers debut game/season with the Jets came to a sudden end after just four snaps this past Monday. The veteran QB tore his left Achilles tendon and underwent surgery soon after. He’s now facing months of recovery, but it seems like Rodgers is not ready to call it a career yet.

Aaron Rodgers Rumors
Aaron Rodgers (Achilles’) eyeing potential playoff return
Aaron Rodgers, who underwent a successful surgery to repair his torn Achilles this week, has not ruled out the possibility of returning for the postseason.
Fantasy Impact
There is some precedent for athletes returning from Achilles injuries in around five or six months, but Rodgers’ age may make the healing process challenging against a tight clock. Regardless, this is a far-fetched notion, as the Jets are not guaranteed even to make the postseason. With Rodgers all but guaranteed to miss the entirety of the regular season, he does not belong on any redraft rosters.
