Fantasy Football Draft Outlook
Justin Fields: Expect more passing volume in 2023. Last year, Fields threw for more than 200 yards only twice in 15 starts last season and never had more than 28 pass attempts in any game. In 2022, Fields was second in fantasy points per dropback behind only Jalen Hurts (minimum 150 dropbacks per Fantasy Points Data).
Amon-Ra St. Brown: After Week 9, Amon-Ra St. Brown led all wide receivers in red zone targets.
Travis Kelce: What makes Kelce valuable is how much more productive he is than anyone else in the TE position. Kelce finished with 262.3 half-point PPR fantasy points last year. The next closest was T.J. Hockenson, with 172.4. That’s 66% of Kelce’s point total. The scoring gap between Kelce and Hockenson (88.9 fantasy points) was greater than the total fantasy points scored by Hunter Henry, Hayden Hurst, Mike Gesicki, Darren Waller, or Kyle Pitts last season.
Cam Akers: Akers led the NFL in rushing over the final six weeks of the regular season and ranked RB4 in half-point PPR scoring over that stretch. He had more than 100 rushing yards in each of his last three games. In Weeks 10-18 last season, Cam Akers was 21st in yards after contact per attempt and seventh in PFF elusive rating (per PFF).
