Sean Tucker to open season as Bucs’ RB2

Sean Tucker is set to open the season as Tampa Bay’s RB2.

Fantasy Impact

Tucker, an undrafted free agent, has been getting a lot of hype this offseason as a potential sleeper, and now some of that is getting confirmed by him securing the RB2 job behind Rachaad White. There isn’t significant reason for concern for White’s workload yet, but if the rookie keeps going at the trajectory he’s on, he could eat into the starter’s workload more than people may think. Tucker is a decent stash or handcuff option in deeper league formats this season.

Joshua Dobbs: Arizona won’t schedule QB for media day

The Cardinals are not listing any QB to speak to the media on Wednesday, per Josh Weinfuss on Twitter.

Fantasy Impact

Cardinals’ HC Jonathan Gannon has made it clear that the team will not give away their QB plans for Week 1, and declining to list a QB shows that the team is taking it down to the wire. Fifth-round rookie Clayton Tune is the other candidate to start in the opener against the Commanders. Regardless of who starts at QB for the team in Week 1, they are unlikely to be a fantasy-relevant starter.

Jameson Williams away from team, unable to have help with rehab

Jameson Williams is away from the Lions serving his suspension right now and the team can’t help him with his injury rehab.

Fantasy Impact

Williams has to serve a six-game suspension after violating the NFL’s gambling policy, and he’s currently away from the team right now. That also means that he can’t use team facilities and trainers to help rehab his hamstring injury, so it’s possible that that could take longer to heal than expected. It seems like he’ll be ready to play when his suspension is over, but it would be wise for fantasy managers to keep tabs on this situation as the season progresses.
