A.J. Dillon could see bigger share of the workload in 2023

A.J. Dillon could see a larger share of the workload in 2023.

Fantasy Impact

He had just under 200 touches last year, which makes the Green Bay backfield more of a 1a and 1b with Aaron Jones and Dillon. The 25-year-old is going off the board as the RB32, and with a larger workload, we could see him sneak into the top 20-25 RBs this year.

Jonathan Mingo could be Bryce Young’s favorite target

According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Carolina Panthers rookie WR Jonathan Mingo emerges as Bryce Young’s favorite target in 2022.

Fantasy Impact

There’s plenty of reason to have optimism toward Mingo’s short-term and long-term outlook in Carolina. The Panthers invested significant draft capital into the Ole Miss WR, 39th pick, and he will be tied to the No. 1 pick, Young, for the foreseeable future. As well, there’s no intense target competition on the Panthers. Veteran WR Adam Thielen looks like Young’s early pre-season favorite, but he’s aging, leaving DJ Chark Jr. and Terrace Marshall Jr. Mingo may not be all there in Week 1, but he could be a mid-season add and a worthwhile dynasty investment.

Van Jefferson could step into No.1 role for Rams if Kupp is out

Van Jefferson could step into the No.1 receiver role in the Rams offense if Cooper Kupp were to miss Week 1.

Fantasy Impact

Kupp suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury and his status for week 1 is in question. Jefferson is not the typical top target for an offense, but he can fill in nicely. Jefferson was the PPR WR36 in 2021 and has had spike week performances before. He’s a good fill-in for Kupp for fantasy rosters.
