Marquise Brown (hamstring) expected to play Week 1

Marquise Brown (hamstring) is expected to play in Arizona’s Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders.

Fantasy Impact

A hamstring injury left Brown with an injury designation for Sunday’s game, but it isn’t a serious issue and the team is expected to start him against the Commanders. He’ll easily be the team’s top receiving option in their season opener, but with Joshua Dobbs being the expected starter at quarterback, it’s hard to get excited playing him against an above-average Washington defense.

Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) expected to play Sunday

Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) is expected to play in Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Impact

An stomach bug of some kind landed Stevenson on the injury report for Sunday’s game, but it isn’t a serious issue and the team expects him to be well enough to play in their season opener. He likely won’t be limited and should be the starter for the Patriots with veteran Ezekiel Elliott backing him up.

Mark Andrews (quad) unlikely to play Sunday

Mark Andrews (quad) is unlikely to play in Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Impact

Andrews has been absent or limited from practice frequently over the past couple of weeks because of a quad injury, and now he will likely have to miss Sunday’s game because of it. He’s still officially listed as questionable to play, but the team is expected to sit him in what should be a relatively easy matchup against the Texans. The most obvious pivot option for fantasy managers should be Isaiah Likely, who was very good in games without Andrews last year.
