Fantasy Football Injury Outlook: Jimmy Garoppolo, Treylon Burks, Miles Sanders (Week 4)

Now, here we go. Here’s my outlook for all notable injuries for Week 4. And below we dive into a few different players.

Week 4 Fantasy Football Injury Report

Treylon Burks (WR – TEN)

Wrapping pattern and comments suggest a mild knee sprain. These average 2 weeks, but it’s unclear when the injury actually occurred. We’d lean towards a Week 5-6 return pending practice progression. Coach Vrabel said this wasn’t a re-aggravation of his prior LCL sprain, but it’s still not great news to have another sprain on the same knee. Expect performance dips for the first ~3 games back.

Miles Sanders (RB – CAR)

TBD. Lean towards sitting. While comments suggest optimism, RBs with this injury profile and practice progression would sit in 75% of cases. If active, expect limited workload and high risk of re-injury, especially since this groin issue has been bothering him since the pre-season.

Jimmy Garoppolo (QB – LV)

TBD. Still has a chance to play, but ~2/3 of players would not clear in time for Week 4. Very likely returning Week 5 with low performance impact.
