Fantasy Football Injury Outlook: George Kittle, Mike Evans, Kadarius Toney (2023)

Welcome to the breakdown of Preseason Week 3’s injuries. Hopefully, the injuries should cool off now due to there being no more preseason games. This was another week of very few fantasy-relevant injuries, only two of note, with a few updates for previous injuries.

New Injuries from Preseason Week 3

George Kittle (TE – SF)

Dealing with a groin injury throughout the preseason, Kittle played in the last preseason game and is likely sitting out this week in practice as a precaution.

Concern level: low

Mike Evans (WR -TB)

Evans seemed to suffer a minor groin injury, as Coach Todd Bowles implied that he could’ve played through the injury. I expect he will slowly work into practice prior to Week 1 and be a full go for the season opener.

Concern level: low

Kadarius Toney (WR – KC)

Toney will possibly be available for Week 1 following a meniscus clean-up surgery early in the preseason. I expect that even if he does play, he’s not startable in fantasy for the first few weeks of the season. With his injury history, I would be cautiously optimistic about this news.

Concern level: medium
