Travis Kelce diagnosed with bone bruise

Travis Kelce has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his knee.

Fantasy Impact

There was some initial concern that Kelce may have suffered a more serious injury at practice, but he has officially been diagnosed with a bone bruise. That’s pretty positive news all things considered, but we still don’t know the exact severity of it or if he’ll have to miss time. Fantasy managers should prepare for the worst and grab a tight end off of waivers in case the veteran doesn’t play in Thursday’s game against the Lions.

George Kittle (groin) returns to practice Wednesday

George Kittle is back practicing on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Kittle’s status for Week 1 remains up in the air, but his return to practice on Wednesday gives him a chance. He will likely need to be at least limited again on Thursday and Friday to be in a good position of taking the field on Sunday.

Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) limited in practice Wednesday

Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) was limited in practice for the Broncos on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

There’s been concern that Jeudy will have to miss multiple weeks because of a hamstring injury, but he was able to take a step in the right direction today and participate in practice in a limited fashion. It was noted that he was running routes at around “75%” speed, and it’s a good sign that he’s running routes and catching passes at this point. Week 1 may still be a longshot for him, but signs are pointing to him being back earlier than anticipated, which would mean less work for Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr. when he’s back and fully healthy.
