Terry McLaurin (toe) still considered day-to-day; uncertain for Week 1

Terry McLaurin (toe) is still considered day-to-day and his status for Week 1 is uncertain.

Fantasy Impact

McLaurin is still dealing with a case of turf toe that he sustained during the preseason, and the team is still taking his recovery day-to-day for right now. His status is still uncertain for the team’s season opener against the Cardinals, but it was also noted that there’s some hope that he will be well enough to play on Sunday. If he’s out, fantasy managers can expect Jahan Dotson and Dyami Brown to get more work in his absence.

George Kittle still sidelined Monday, could miss opener

According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, 49ers TE George Kittle was running off to the side during the media-open portion of practice on Monday and could miss the season opener due to his groin injury.

Fantasy Impact

Kittle missed last season’s opener as well and has a documented injury history. He has missed 13 games over the last three seasons. When healthy, though, Kittle is undoubtedly a TE1 in fantasy football and was the TE1 in all formats with Brock Purdy under center. His situation should remain monitored.
