Saquon Barkley (ankle) listed as non-participant Tuesday
Saquon Barkley (ankle) was a non-participant in New York’s practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Barkley did not participate in Tuesday’s practice for the Giants because of the ankle sprain that he suffered on Sunday. Initial predictions indicated that the star RB would have to miss a few weeks, but HC Brian Daboll won’t rule him out for their game on Thursday and will make a decision about his availability closer to game time. Chances are, he’ll be out and veteran Matt Breida will be the RB1 for the team against a tough Niners’ defense.

Jamaal Williams (hamstring) may ‘take some time’ to return
Saints’ head coach Dennis Allen said that Jamaal Williams may ‘take some time’ to return from his hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact
Williams suffered a hamstring injury during Monday night’s win that forced him to miss the entire second half of the game. Now, HC Dennis Allen is telling reporters that it will ‘take some time’ for him to recover from the injury. It’s unclear what exactly that means for his recovery timeline, but it seems safe to assume that he’ll be week-to-week for now. The Saints get Alvin Kamara back from suspension in Week 4, so if Williams has to be out for Week 3, New Orleans will really be banking on rookie Kendre Miller (hamstring) to be healthy and ready to go against the Packers.

Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) to be limited at practice Tuesday
Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) will be limited at San Francisco’s practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
A recent shoulder injury will force Aiyuk to be limited at Tuesday’s practice. He was estimated to be a non-participant on Monday, however, so this is actually a step in the right direction for the young receiver. The team has a short turnaround and has to play against the Giants on Thursday night, and the team will likely make a final decision about his availability sometime closer to kickoff. If he’s out, Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings will be primed to play a bigger role in his absence.
