Derek Carr (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday
Derek Carr, who is considered week-to-week with a shoulder sprain he suffered in Week 3, was at practice on Wednesday but not participating.
Fantasy Impact
Carr was considered an extreme long shot to suit in Week 4 against Tampa, and, unsurprisingly, he was held out of practice. Carr is expected to be out for Week 4, and Jameis Winston will get another crack at the team that drafted him first overall. Winston is a highly volatile fantasy option this weekend, perhaps better suited for DFS.

Bryce Young (ankle) practices in full Wednesday
Bryce Young, who missed the Panthers’ Week 3 loss in Seattle, practiced in full on Wednesday, indicating he is on track to return from his ankle injury this Sunday vs. Minnesota.
Fantasy Impact
The first overall selection in the NFL draft has failed to live up to the lofty expectations that come with such high draft capital, but there is plenty of time for Young to find his footing. Young does not belong in any starting lineups for now but deserves to be rostered in dynasty leagues, specifically Superflex.

Jaylen Waddle (concussion) fully practicing Wednesday
Jaylen Waddle (concussion) will be a full participant in Miami’s practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Waddle missed Miami’s Week 3 blowout against the Broncos because of a concussion, but now he’s back at practice and isn’t limited at all. He still hasn’t officially cleared the concussion protocols, but he’s trending that way and the team thinks he will be cleared before Sunday’s game. His return will lead to less work for Braxton Berrios and Miami’s running backs against the Bills.

Jonathan Mingo (concussion) won’t practice Wednesday
Jonathan Mingo (concussion) will not participate at Carolina’s practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Mingo is currently dealing with a concussion and will not practice for the Panthers on Wednesday. It’s unclear when he will be back, but it could be sometime after this week if he can’t clear the league’s concussion protocols soon. If the rookie has to miss time, fantasy managers can look for DJ Chark Jr. and Terrace Marshall Jr. to both get more work in his absence.
