Joe Burrow (calf) expected to play Week 1, per Rapoport
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, “all signs point” to Joe Burrow (calf) suiting up for Week 1 versus the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact
Burrow’s injury has been a topic of discussion throughout the preseason, but he has recovered quite well and is considered day-to-day heading into Week 1. Based on Rapoport’s comments, we should expect him to play in the season opener. Consider Burrow a mid-range QB1 with impressive upside.

Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) completes conditioning work on the side
Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) stretched with the team ahead of Monday’s practice, then did conditioning work on the side.
Fantasy Impact
Jeudy has been trending towards missing Week 1, and there was even talk about him being placed on short-term IR (though that never happened). However, the door remains open for Jeudy to recover faster than expected, so fantasy managers should look out for updates over the course of the week. If he does play, Jeudy would have low-end WR2 appeal. If he can’t suit up, though, Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr. would see additional opportunities.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (wrist) practices Monday
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (wrist) was seen practicing on Monday as the Seahawks prepare to take on the Rams in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
We don’t know whether Smith-Njigba practiced in a full or limited capacity, but his presence on the field is a great sign less than two weeks post-surgery. It also suggests that he’ll be listed as a limited or full participant when the Seahawks share their official injury report on Wednesday, giving the rookie a very good chance to play in the season opener. Still behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the depth-chart, Smith-Njigba opens the year as a high-end WR4 in fantasy football.
