De’Von Achane (shoulder) returns to practice Monday

De’Von Achane (shoulder) returned to practice for the Dolphins on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

Achane has missed some time thanks to a shoulder injury that he suffered in a preseason game, but he’s back at practice and is not wearing a no-contact jersey. The team will need the rookie to contribute even more with Jeff Wilson Jr. now set to miss significant time, and fantasy managers should keep tabs on Achane’s practice reports to see if he’ll be good to go for Week 1.

Cooper Kupp still considered day-to-day

Cooper Kupp is still being considered day-to-day, according to head coach Sean McVay.

Fantasy Impact

Kupp’s status for Week 1 is up in the air after he reaggravated his hamstring injury, but the team is apparently still considering him day-to-day for the time being. That sounds like positive news for his recovery, but he’s still in Minneapolis seeing a specialist and Sean McVay didn’t offer a specific timeline for his return, so Week 1 still feels like a long shot. Fantasy managers should expect Van Jefferson and Puka Nacua to get more work if the star receiver doesn’t play in the season opener against the Seahawks.

Breece Hall not practicing Monday, will play Week 1

New York Jets RB Breece Hall is not practicing Monday. Head coach Robert Saleh stated that it is a maintenance day.

Fantasy Impact

Hall is still expected to be ready to play in Week 1, but the team is expected to be smart with his workload. Fantasy managers should expect Hall to split touches with Dalvin Cook to begin the season. Hall currently ranks as the RB15 in ECR, according to FantasyPros.
