49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ribs/knee) was not spotted at Thursday’s practice.

DeVonta Smith (illness) does not practice Thursday

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (illness) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.

Smith, along with many other Eagles’ players, reported having flu-like symptoms after Monday night’s win over Tampa Bay. Fantasy managers will want to monitor the situation, but he should be fine for the team’s Week 4 matchup against Washington.

Tony Pollard rests on Thursday, misses practice

Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard received some “planned rest,” according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Pollard could use the rest as he currently leads the NFL in touches with 74, three more than second place (Christian McCaffrey) and 14 more than third place (Travis Etienne). Pollard will likely be good to go, as the rest was planned, but his OL is still dealing with a plethora of injuries. He has 312 scrimmage yards this season and is a top fantasy option at RB every week.
