Tyler Higbee (achilles) doesn’t practice Wednesday

Tyler Higbee (achilles) did not participate in practice for the Rams on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Higbee is a new addition to the injury report, dealing with an achilles injury of some kind that sidelined him at Wednesday’s practice. It’s unclear just how severe it is, and his practice status on Thursday should tell us a lot about if this was just a precautionary move by the team or not. Brycen Hopkins will have to get more run in the offense if Higbee has an injury designation going into the weekend.

Christian Watson (hamstring) expected to play Thursday

Christian Watson (hamstring) will play in Thursday night’s game against the Detroit Lions barring any late setbacks.

Fantasy Impact

A hamstring injury has left Watson sidelined for the entire regular season so far, but it’s now being reported that he’s going to play on Thursday if there are no setbacks with his injury before then. It doesn’t seem likely that that will be the case, so fantasy managers can feel confident that he will be active. It’s unclear if he will be limited in his return, but either way his presence means less work for Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed in this offense.

James Conner (back) limited at Wednesday’s practice

James Conner (back) was limited at Arizona’s practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

A back injury left Conner limited at Wednesday’s practice. This is a new designation for him, so it’s unclear if this is a real issue or not. In all likelihood, this is a minor issue that the team is being cautious with, so fantasy managers can plan on him playing in Week 4 for the time being unless we hear otherwise later in the week.
