Christian Watson (hamstring) upgraded to limited Tuesday

Christian Watson (hamstring) was upgraded to a limited participant at Tuesday’s practice.

Fantasy Impact

Watson hasn’t played yet this season because of a hamstring injury. He was able to log a limited practice session on Tuesday after being estimated as a DNP on Monday, however, and he also told reporters that the plan is for him to play on Thursday night. The team will make a decision closer to game time, but he seems to be trending the right direction against the Lions, which would lead to less work for Romeo Doubs and rookie Jayden Reed in Week 4 and beyond.

David Montgomery (thigh) officially limited at practice Tuesday

David Montgomery (thigh) was officially limited at Detroit’s practice on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact

Montgomery missed Sunday’s game while nursing a thigh injury he suffered in Week 2, and he’s been able to practice in a limited fashion this week. They have a short turnaround before Thursday’s game, but he is reportedly trending towards playing against the Packers. If that’s the case, rookie Jahmyr Gibbs will get a lot less rushing work with his return.

Aaron Jones (hamstring) limited at practice Tuesday

Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited at Green Bay’s practice on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact

Jones has been out for two-straight weeks thanks to a lingering hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1, but he’s been able to log a limited practice for each of the last two days and will have a real chance to play on Thursday. If he’s back, fantasy managers should be starting him and can expect AJ Dillon to see a massive reduction in work against the Lions.
