Brandin Cooks (knee) trending toward playing Week 3
Brandin Cooks (knee) is trending towards playing for Week 3, according to owner Jerry Jones.
Fantasy Impact
Cooks missed Dallas’ game in Week 2 because of a knee injury, but he is getting better and owner Jerry Jones anticipates that he will play in Week 3. The veteran is still a productive player at this point in his career and will provide QB Dak Prescott with a boost if he plays against the Cardinals.

Darren Waller (hamstring) feels better, not on injury report
Darren Waller (hamstring) said on Monday that he “feels better after [Week 2] than he did after the first game,” per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.
Fantasy Impact
Waller’s claims were supported by the fact that he isn’t on the initial injury report heading into Thursday Night Football versus the 49ers. He should be viewed as a mid-range TE1 in fantasy football.

Nick Chubb (knee) to undergo season-ending surgery
Nick Chubb will require surgery on his knee and will be out for the remainder of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Chubb went down with a gruesome knee injury during Monday night’s loss to the Steelers, and after further testing, it has been determined that he will need to get surgery to repair it. He will be knocked out for the remainder of the season, which is obviously a devastating blow for him, the Browns, and fantasy managers. The team will have to look to players like Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. to step up and play a bigger role in the star RB’s extended absence for the rest of the season.
