According to HC Shane Steichen, Colts’ rookie QB Anthony Richardson, who suffered a concussion early during the team’s Week 2 victory over Houston, has been ruled out ahead of Week 3.
Fantasy Impact
Richardson did not log practice time this week after self-reporting concussion symptoms during the early stages of the Colts’ Week 2 win. The rookie QB had gotten off to a great start with two first-quarter rushing TDs but was forced to come out of the game. Once healthy, Richardson will be a high-floor QB option for your fantasy team, thanks to heavy rushing involvement. With the rookie being out for Week 3, Gardner Minshew will be the QB1 against a stingy Ravens defense.

Logan Thomas (concussion) ruled out for Commanders’ Week 3 game
Logan Thomas, who suffered a concussion during the Commanders’ Week 2 comeback win in Denver, has been ruled out ahead of the Commanders’ Week 3 matchup with Buffalo.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas suffered the concussion on a play in which he caught a critical 4th-and-goal touchdown, which was crucial towards the Commanders’ comeback. Kareem Jackson, the Broncos safety who administered the hit, was ejected from the game. Thomas could not clear the league’s concussion protocol and will sit out in Week 3. In his absence, TE’s John Bates and Cole Turner will see an increase in snaps and usage.

Jaylen Waddle (concussion) listed as questionable for Week 3
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday against Denver.
Fantasy Impact
Waddle suffered a concussion in the team’s Week 2 win over the Patriots. Waddle was able to practice in a limited fashion Friday, which gives him the opportunity to clear the league’s concussion protocol by Saturday. Fantasy managers will want to continue to monitor the situation.

Austin Ekeler (ankle) ruled out for Week 3 vs. Vikings
Chargers RB Austin Ekeler has been ruled out for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy Impact
Ekeler will miss a second consecutive game with an ankle injury after rushing 16 times for 117 yards and a touchdown and catching four of his five targets for 47 yards in Week 1. Joshua Kelley is the next man up in the Chargers’ backfield, but he disappointed in Week 2, rushing for 39 yards on 13 carries (3.0 AVG) while failing to haul in his only target. However, the Chargers faced the Titans and their stingy run defense last week and have a more favorable matchup against a Vikings team that allowed the Eagles to rush for over 250 yards a week ago.
