Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) does not practice Tuesday
Eagles RB Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) did not participate in practice Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Gainwell was also absent from practice on Monday with a rib injury he suffered in Sunday’s win over New England. Fantasy managers should expect D’Andre Swift and Boston Scott to see the majority of the touches at running back Thursday against Minnesota if Gainwell is not healthy enough to play.
Jesse Garcia
Greg Dulcich expected to miss multiple weeks with hamstring injury
Greg Dulcich reinjured the hamstring that caused him to miss seven games last year, and is expected to miss multiple games to start this year.
Fantasy Impact
Dulcich went 33/411/2 last year as a rookie and was a popular breakout candidate this year. However, the Broncos traded for Adam Trautman during the draft, muddying the situation. Trautman should benefit from Dulcich’s absence as the clear lead TE for the next few weeks.
Jason Elliott
Aaron Rodgers out for season, torn Achilles confirmed
Aaron Rodgers is officially out for the 2023 season after an MRI confirmed he suffered a torn Achilles in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
This is obviously a devastating blow to the Jets and fantasy managers who roster the future Hall of Famer. Additionally, this downgrades all New York wide receivers, including Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, and Mecole Hardman Jr., though Wilson is still an elite talent capable of putting up WR1/WR2 numbers. Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook get a slight bump as the Jets will presumably run the ball more. Zach Wilson will take over for Rodgers, but he can be ignored in all formats except Superflex and 2-QB leagues.

Diontae Johnson (hamstring) expected to miss a few weeks
Diontae Johnson is expected to miss “a few weeks” due to the hamstring injury he incurred in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Hamstring injuries can linger, particularly for skill position players like WR. Fantasy managers drafted Johnson hoping he would rebound after last year’s disappointing season that saw him collect zero touchdowns; however, with the nature of the injury, it is important to find a replacement either by waiver wire or trade. Allen Robinson II will presumably see more targets, with Calvin Austin III rising to WR3. Both are rosterable at this point in the season.
