Joe Mixon found not guilty of aggravated menacing
According to Ben Baby of ESPN, Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon was found not guilty of aggravated menacing from a road rage incident in January.
Fantasy Impact
This result gives Mixon’s status for the Bengals more stability in the short term, though his legal battles are not completely finished. Mixon still has a separate ongoing case in regard to a shooting at his residence that took place in March, where Mixon is not a suspect. The league conducts its own research in legal matters and the results of these cases may differ from league punishments, but for now, the assumption is that Mixon won’t face any upcoming suspension to start the 2023 NFL season.

Dalvin Cook, Saleh unconcerned over potential suspension
New York Jets RB Dalvin Cook said Thursday that he has heard nothing from the league in regard to a potential suspension, and head coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday that he was not concerned about it.
Fantasy Impact
Cook has an active dueling lawsuit dating back to 2021 in regard to a domestic violence case with claims going both ways. The situation has not yet been resolved legally, and the league typically tends to wait until situations are resolved before dealing out punishments, though they are not required to do so. Neither Cook nor Saleh seems concerned about the possibility of a suspension coming out of the situation, so expectations are that Cook, who just got to camp, should be good for the start of the season.
