Panthers vs. Giants NFL Preseason DFS Picks

Carolina Panthers Targets

Raheem Blackshear (RB – CAR)

The first two spots of the running back depth chart seem to be locked in, with Miles Sanders as the lead back and Chubba Hubbard as the backup. The decision needs to be made with who’s third, and it’ll come down to Spencer Brown or Raheem Blackshear. Brown was the lead back in the first game, and don’t be surprised if Blackshear gets his shot to lead the way and make his case for the RB3.

New York Giants Targets

Tommy DeVito (QB – NYG)

Daniel Jones shouldn’t see a snap in this game, and Tyrod Taylor only played two series in the first preseason game, so expect DeVito to get the bulk of the work again. Regarding preseason DFS, it isn’t so much matchup based as it is about who will get the most playing time.

Cole Beasley (WR – NYG)

A year ago, Beasley said he was retired but was convinced to keep playing thanks to Josh Allen and continues on in 2023. He’s still playing at an excellent level and caught all four of his targets for 34 yards last week.

Bengals vs. Falcons NFL Preseason DFS Picks

Cincinnati Bengals Targets

Chris Evans (RB – CIN) + Chase Brown (RB – CIN)

We aim at both running backs in this game against the Atlanta Falcons defense that allowed the eight most rushing yards in 2022. Yes, they have some additions to the defense, but until they prove they can stop the run, we will hammer running backs against them. Last week, we told you about Chris Evans but the Bengals will give the rookie Chase Brown enough carries to see what they invested in this past draft.

Andrei Iosivas (WR – CIN)

Andrew Iosivas has been the surprise of camp and had a good showing in his first preseason game. With the Bengals resting their starting wide receivers most of the game, expect more of the same in this game from Iosivas. Anytime we can plug and play a 6’3/ 212 lb wide receiver with ball skills, we do it.

Trevor Siemian (QB – CIN)

With Joe Burrow‘s injury, we won’t see him on the field, which means the remaining quarterbacks should get a decent amount of snaps. Take the shot on a former starter squaring off against lesser talent in a preseason game every time.

Bengals Defense + Evan McPherson (K – CIN)

You know the rules by now with preseason. These two entities are always targets in the game.

Atlanta Falcons Targets

Taylor Heinicke (QB – ATL)

We use the same rule for Trevor Siemian above for Taylor Heinicke. A former starter should always have an increased chance of shining against backups.

Jonnu Smith (TE – ATL)

Something to always target is an athletic tight end. With Kyle Pitts resting most, if not all, of this game we turn to Jonnu Smith. Smith will face the defense that allows the eighth most receptions and ninth most yards to tight ends in 2022.

Falcons Defense + Younghoe Koo (K – ATL)

We use the same rules as we did for the Bengals with this selection. In the preseason, these two options should always be on the table.
