Mike Evans dealing with groin injury
Mike Evans is dealing with a groin injury but head coach, Todd Bowles, says that he should have been okay and did not need to play win preseason finale.
Fantasy Impact
Evans is the WR1, the sure guy, the go-to on the Buccaneers offense. He makes the offense run, whether defenses can stop him or not. Evans is a four-time Pro Bowler with no concern of slowing down. The 29-year-old, in his nine year career has never had a year without 1000+ yards and that streak doesn’t seem likely to end anytime soon. Expect him to end in the top 12-15 of WRs by the end of the season.

D’Onta Foreman leaves game with apparent shoulder injury
D’Onta Foreman left the preseason game against the Bills with an apparent shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact
Foreman is expected to work with the Bears’ first team and possibly become a starter. Foreman is in a lackluster RB room, and a dual-threat QB that could mean being the starter could mean a lot of volume.

Kadarius Toney (knee) could be nearing practice return
Kadarius Toney, who has been dealing with a knee injury, has a chance to “practice in about a week.” According to HC Andy Reid, as reported by Nate Taylor of The Athletic.
Fantasy Impact
This is good news as Toney still has a chance to suit up in the Chiefs’ Week 1 clash with Detroit, but until he gets back on the practice field, it will be hard to tell how significant the effects of his recent injury will be. Toney has dealt with many injuries since being selected in the first round of the 2021 draft, but when healthy, he has the big-play ability to be a fantasy week winner. Stay tuned to see Toney’s practice statuses as Week 1 approaches.

Chigoziem Okonkwo (leg) expected back this week
Chigoziem Okonkwo (leg) is expected to return to practice this week.
Fantasy Impact
Okonkwo sat out of the final preseason game after injuring his leg during practice. Luckily, the injury seems to be a minor one and he should be good to go for the start of the season.
