Kadarius Toney still dealing with knee injury

Kadarius Toney is still dealing with a knee injury, but the 24-year-old first-round selection is expected to be back on the field soon.

Fantasy Impact

Toney played a key role in Super Bowl 57 this past year. He came in around Week 11, and in seven games, he played and caught two touchdowns with 170+ yards to go along with it. He is expected to be the WR1 on the Chiefs this year, and he is worth a late-round selection, but don’t expect Tyreek Hill numbers.

Kendre Miller back at practice on Thursday

Kendre Miller returned to practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Miller is dealing with a knee sprain in his surgically repaired right knee. He was originally thought to return around week 1 of the regular season, but reports came out this week that he had a chance to play Sunday in New Orleans preseason game. His appearance in practice on Thursday boosts his chances to return sooner rather than later.

Noah Fant enters season fully healthy

Noah Fant comes into a make-or-break season with the Seahawks. The former first-round pick in Denver the 25-year-old TE hopes to turn his career around in Seattle this year.

Fantasy Impact

Fant, a little undersized at 6’4 250lbs, makes up for it by displaying clean route running and good hands. Assuming he is still available in later rounds take a flier pick on him. He is the TE1 in that organization and hopefully will improve and see more volume. Expect him to be a huge safety net for Geno Smith.

Kenneth Walker III logs first full practice since injury

Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III logged his first practice as a full participant since returning from injury.

Fantasy Impact

Walker returned to practice on Saturday after being out since July 27, but he only took part in solo drills and not team drills. On Thursday, though, he returned to team drills. Despite this progress, it would still be unlikely to see Walker participate in the Seahawks’ preseason contests so they can focus on getting him ramped up for the regular season. Walker ran for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns on 4.6 yards per carry as a rookie, finishing second in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race. Despite the offseason addition of rookie RB Zach Charbonnet, Walker should still have a strong Year 2, though he may concede usage on third downs and obvious passing situations. He’s going on average as the half-PPR RB16.
