Terry McLaurin uncertain for Week 1

Terry McLaurin‘s status for the season opener is now up in the air as he is rehabbing a turf toe injury.

Fantasy Impact

McLaurin has always done a good job of getting an inch and taking a mile, especially these last four seasons. McLaurin has posted four 1000+ yard seasons and did it with 10 different QBs. McLaurin is going off as the WR27 and, turf toe or not, expect him to be a top 20 if not a top 15 WR by the end of the year.

Treylon Burks: unclear if WR will be available for Week 1

According to team reporter Jim Wyatt, it’s unclear if WR Treylon Burks will be available for the team’s season opener against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Impact

Burks suffered an LCL sprain in practice on August 16 and was given a timeline of a few weeks. The Titans’ season opener is September 10, 25 days after Burks’ injury, but his status does not yet seem clear as he may need time to get back up to speed or avoid other injuries. With fellow sophomore WR Kyle Philips also injured, the Titans are looking thin at the position. Chris Moore and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine could be in line to start alongside DeAndre Hopkins in Week 1.

Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) expected to miss several weeks

Jerry Jeudy is expected to be sidelined for several weeks because of a hamstring injury that he suffered in practice.

Fantasy Impact

Jeudy had to be carted off the field on Thursday after suffering a hamstring injury at practice, and the MRI results have shown that it is a ‘moderate’ injury. He’s expected to be out for several weeks, which means that he’s probably going to have to miss the first week or two of the regular season at the very least. Fantasy managers should wait and see how far his ADP drops as a result of this injury before making any decisions on whether or not to target him at a discount, and we can also expect Courtland Sutton and rookie Marvin Mims to both get more work for however long Jeudy remains sidelined for.
