Dynasty Trade Advice: Calvin Ridley & Dalton Kincaid (2023 Fantasy Football)

If you’re not active in trades in your dynasty league, then your team will suffer because of it. Now is a great time to go shopping for some thrift store-quality steals in your league. It’s also a great time to try to sell high ahead of the new season. In terms of dynasty, selling high means you trade away a player away before their value goes down. It’s all the risk and speculation of the stock market with all the fun of gambling. Here are some players to trade now. And here are more players to buy and sell.

Fantasy Football Players to Trade

Calvin Ridley (WR – JAX)

Ah, what could have been with Ridley, right? He missed a whole season due to a bogus rule violation, in my opinion, and now dons the zero jersey in Jacksonville with hopes of rekindling his career. He could do worse than catching passes from Trevor Lawrence, but a WR33 ECR scares me a little. If you’ve held onto him throughout the drama, now might not be the best time to move on, but I’d be sending offers as the season approaches to test the waters. Someone in your league probably thinks he’s a WR1. If you can’t find one, then it might be you, and that means you might be stuck with him for the time being. However, once he makes a splash play in the preseason or puts up 100 yards in September, I’m moving on as fast as I can and as high as I can.

Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)

The Bills’ sell-high trifecta is complete with rookie TE Kincaid. Unlike Allen and Diggs, the reason I’m selling Kincaid is more related to his price and his position. ECR TE8 feels crazy to me. Haven’t we seen this before? A rookie tight end catches the eyes of dynasty managers but fails to produce, thereby lowering his price during the season. Rather than watching this play out on your team, maybe you can get out early and reap the rewards now. As with everyone on this list, be patient and find the right deal that feels fair to you. I’m sure someone in your league is more optimistic than you are and is willing to play the long game on a rookie TE, or at least that’s what they’ll tell themselves.
