News and notes:

The big recent injury was to Felix Bautista, who was placed on the injured list due to a UCL injury. He has no timetable for return with Cano filling in as the Orioles closer while he is sidelined.

It was announced earlier this week that David Robertson was removed from the Marlins closer role after he blew his third save with Miami. Tanner Scott figures to get the first chance at closing games for the Marlins with A.J. Puk right behind him.

Kenley Jansen was cleared to return from his injury earlier this week.

After going through a rough stretch, Andres Munoz has pitched better over his past handful of appearances. Matt Brash could still see some save chances, but Munoz at the very least appears to be the 1A option for saves in the Mariners bullpen.

The Rangers have more saves blown than saves recorded this season. Aroldis Chapman and Will Smith continue to see save chances, but neither of them can seem to take clear hold of the closer role in Texas.
