Tank Bigsby shows promising pass-catching ability

Tank Bigsby has impressed Jacksonville coaches and players alike all offseason, especially in one aspect of his game, pass-catching.

Fantasy Impact

The Jaguars appear confident in Bigsby’s ability to take over when Travis Etienne needs to come off the field and believe they have found their RB2. While Etienne still owns this backfield, it’s possible Bigsby has weekly flex appeal, especially if the Jaguars go back to being a split backfield like they were at the beginning of 2022. Etienne was still getting up to speed at that point after missing his rookie season due to injury, but it seems likely Bigsby will at least have a minor role given the Jaguars’ praise and investment in him.

Kendre Miller placed on non-football injury list

The Saints have placed rookie running back Kendre Miller on the non-football injury list ahead of training camp.

Fantasy Impact

Miller is still dealing with the fallout of an injury that he suffered in college, and he will be forced to miss the start of training camp because of it. It’s unclear when exactly the team expects him to be healthy, but there’s optimism that he’ll be good to go before the start of the season. Any absence he has could lead to a bigger role for Jamaal Williams or Alvin Kamara, pending word on if he will get suspended.
