Several factors go into building a consistently elite dynasty team. One of those is identifying the top player on every NFL team. Another is knowing which players you should trade away before their fantasy value decreases.
Typically the starting quarterback is the top dynasty asset on every NFL team in superflex leagues. However, they are rarely the top asset in 1QB leagues. To help you build the best dynasty team possible, I will identify the top dynasty asset and sell candidates for every NFL team.
Today I break down the NFC North teams: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.

The Top Sell Candidate
Here are players to consider trading away on each NFC North team.
Aaron Jones (RB – GB)
While the Packers didn’t have a successful season, Aaron Jones was outstanding. He was the RB9, averaging 12.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran also forced a missed tackle on 24.8% of his rushing attempts, a career-high. Unfortunately, Jones’ saw his yards after contact decline. He averaged 3.5 yards after contact per attempt in 2020, a career-high. However, that number dropped to 3.2 each of the past two years. The veteran will play a critical role for Green Bay this season. Yet, Jones turns 29 in December and is entering the final year of his contract. Fantasy managers should sell high on the veteran this season.
Alexander Mattison (RB – MIN)
Alexander Mattison became one of the hottest names in fantasy football after the Vikings released Dalvin Cook. The former Boise State star has averaged 18.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game when starting for the injured veteran. Meanwhile, he had five rushing touchdowns last season, a career-high. However, now is the time to sell high on Mattison. The veteran only signed a two-year deal this offseason. More importantly, the Vikings will also use Ty Chandler and DeWayne McBride, limiting Mattison’s upside. If you can land a 2024 first-round pick for Mattison, that is a deal you should make in a heartbeat.
