My colleagues and I came down on the Diggs side here, though I consider it close to a toss-up. Diggs is 29, and though I expect his game to age well, his productivity fell off a bit late last season. Watson is big (6-4, 208), fast (4.36) and scored eight touchdowns over a four-game stretch last season. It’s possible that we’ll consider him a more valuable dynasty asset than Diggs a year from now, but Diggs is probably the safe bet for the next 2-3 years — especially when you consider how unproven Packers QB Jordan Love is. Metchie doesn’t move the needle for me at all. It’s possible he’ll develop into a worthwhile dynasty asset, but for now he’s a bottom-of-the-roster guy.

I’m the lone wolf on this one. Give me the Javonte-Gabe combo. Diggs has been a reliable high-impact performer for the last half-decade or more, but he’s 29 now, his production slipped late last season, and there was some minor acrimony between Diggs and the Bills earlier this year. Williams sustained a devastating multi-ligament knee injury last season, but his recovery is reportedly going very well, and he’s a special talent. A lot of people were excited about the possibility of a breakout season for Davis in 2022, but he sustained a high-ankle sprain early in the season that may have contributed to a disappointing campaign. If my dynasty team has a reasonable chance to win a championship in 2023, I might not make this deal. But if I’m in rebuilding mode or not a serious championship contender, I want the two-player combo.

Give me Diggs, who’s been one of the most reliable receivers in the league for five-plus years. Ridley is mega-talented, but he’s only a year younger than Diggs and not nearly as accomplished. Ridey’s 2021 sabbatical and 2022 gambling suspension cast doubts upon his reliability. And while Miller is an interesting RB prospect, third-round running backs have an iffy hit rate.
