Najee Harris for Tony Pollard

Which side wins?

Team getting Najee Harris

  • Pat Fitzmaurice
  • Joe Pisapia
  • Ryan Wormeli

Team getting Tony Pollard

  • Mike Maher
  • Andrew Erickson

Takeaways

Close call on this one. I’m more bullish on Najee than some of my colleagues seem to be, and I’m giving him a slight nod over Pollard, who’s never had 200 carries or 40 receptions in a season. Harris has averaged 20.4 touches a game over his first two seasons, hasn’t missed a game and played through a Lisfranc injury last year. He’s been working behind mediocre offensive lines, but the Steelers plowed significant resources into that unit in the offseason. I’m hitching my wagon to a reliable workhorse.

-Pat Fitzmaurice

Najee Harris for Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Which side wins?

Team getting Najee Harris

  • N/A

Team getting Jaxon Smith-Njigba

  • Mike Maher
  • Andrew Erickson
  • Pat Fitzmaurice
  • Joe Pisapia
  • Ryan Wormeli

Takeaways

As much as I like Najee, it would be illogical to take the 25-year-old running back over the 21-year-old wide receiver who was drafted in the first round and had a 95-catch, 1,600-yard season as a 19-year-old college sophomore.

-Pat Fitzmaurice

Najee Harris for Kendre Miller & Treylon Burks

Which side wins?

Team getting Najee Harris

  • Joe Pisapia
  • Mike Maher

Team getting Kendre Miller & Treylon Burks

  • Andrew Erickson
  • Ryan Wormeli
  • Pat Fitzmaurice

Takeaways

This deal is pretty balanced. If my team was a title contender, I would probably want Najee. But in a vacuum, I slightly prefer the Burks-Miller combo. I fell hard for Burks when he was at the University of Arkansas, and I think it’s only a matter of time before he turns into a high-volume possession receiver. Miller is hardly a sure thing as an RB prospect, but he has NFL size and was impressive for TCU last fall.

-Pat Fitzmaurice

Hopefully, this can help you as you navigate the trade waters of your dynasty fantasy football league.
